Tariiq Omari Walton is a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist (LCMFT), and the director of iNsight Marriage & Family Therapists, LLC. A graduate of the University of Maryland’s Couples & Family Therapy program, Tariiq specializes in couples work, with a particular focus on mindfulness, communication, problem solving, emotional regulation, and building intimacy.
With more than three decades of on-air experience, Tariiq formally served as the producer and host of his own television talk show, “Views & Vibes”, and was a co-host on the long running talk radio program “Moonman and the Fun Bunch”. Currently, Tariiq co-hosts the Kings of the Heart podcast with fellow LCMFT and friend, Dr. John Hart, and hosts/produces The Insight Guided Mediation Podcast.
In 2014, Tariiq was named to the Prince George’s County Social Innovation Fund’s Forty Under 40 in the category of Arts & Humanities. The author of four books, including the relationship tome, “It’s Just A Damn Date: Why We Expect Too Much Too Soon”, Tariiq is a sought after lecturer, panelist, and media personality.
